Memberships
Being a member of Sherburn Aero Club provides you with some of the best airfield facilities in the country.
Our main clubhouse is home to our flight centre, flight training school, restaurant and bar, function room and aeromedical surgery. We also benefit from sharing our airfield with a fixed-wing commercial flight training school, microlight training school, helicopter training school, and aircraft engineering and maintenance company.
If all of that was not enough we have 4 runways, 3 grass and 1 tarmac with lighting, 4 hangars that house the club’s fleet and in excess of 85 privately owned members aircraft and our very own flight simulator.
Sherburn Aero Club has over 700 members, both flying and social. Joining and being a member of what we consider to be the best flying club in the country is a privilege and a pleasure you will never regret.
We host activities and events for our members throughout the year, indoors, on the field, and in the air, providing a very active social scene as well as opportunities to further your flying experience. We also have reciprocal landing arrangements with a number of other clubs around the country enabling our members to broaden their experience cost-effectively. As a Flying Member, you benefit from all of this plus a shareholding in the club and its assets with voting rights.
